Lamartine Fires & Fireplaces recently entered the FBD Retail Excellence Ireland Awards and was judged to be in the Top 50 stores in Ireland. THE FBD Retail Excellence Ireland Awards were established in 1997 to promote best practice standards in the Irish Retail Industry. Now in its 19th year the FBD Retail Excellence Ireland Awards is the benchmark by which the best in retail are judged. The Awards are focused on promoting and recognising standards of excellence in retail and the Awards programme is now the largest of its kind in Ireland.
A rigorous assessment and selection process is implemented to ensure objective performance measurement of all stores. A mystery customer visits each entered store and completes a full visit report (in secret). This process enables selection of the top 100 stores.The top 100 stores are visited by a fully trained store assessor. An independent judging panel will select the top 50 (Ireland’s Top 50 Stores for 2015) performing stores and ultimately the top 30 finalists (6 stores from each of the 5 categories).
Top Showrooms in Ireland
Lamartine Fires & Fireplaces have been judged to be the best overall Irish Fireplace Showroom and received INFO’s Retail Awards Perpetual Trophy. In addition, we scooped first place in the larger showroom category (over 1,500 sq. ft.). The competition was organised by the Irish Nationwide Fireplace Organisation (INFO) and was sponsored by Bord na Móna Fuels.
The competition’s sponsor, Bord na Móna Fuels, were also present at the event to announce Lamartine Fire & Fireplaces as the outright Winners. ‘We are delighted to work closely with INFO again this year and to renew our sponsorship of their National Showroom Awards initiative’ said Pat Downes, Director of Bord na Móna Fuels.
