The Kensington fireplace is a truly remarkable piece of workmanship displaying all key elements of Victorian design. Carved in honed Sevec marble with yellow sienna inlay with black granite slips a large chamber opening lined in yellow Scottish firebrick and a black granite hearth. It features Chesney’s Dorchester fire grate suitable for use with gas or solid fuel fires.
